Question: How many years have TASIS teachers been teaching for?

Introduction:

I chose this question because it will show us the expertise that the teachers at TASIS have, and how much experience they have in their subject. This question will not be biased because I will ask teachers that look close to each others age, and the questions I will ask won't be looking for a specific answer.

Why is this question very important?

TASIS takes pride in being able to offer one of the best educations out there, and with time comes experience, and one of the most important things about being a teacher is experience. Often teachers in general might not know how to react to a certain thing, or to a student, but with experience comes very important knowledge. Teachers are human too, although many teachers at TASIS have graduated from university and even have a advanced degree, they do not know everything, and with time they will be able to experiment and research to be able to learn and teach the students in a more efficient way.

As some studies and articles suggest, work experience might not be as important as you think. Although most people would like their employees (teachers in this case) to have more work experience, too many years of work experience does have its cons too. Many employers such as the former CEO of E-bay thinks that people with many years of work experience and people that dont have very little difference, as he rathers having certain traits such as fast problem solving, team work, and much more vital traits that make the workplace a productive and nice environment. The downsides are also that people with more years of experience will probably also demand a higher salary and could have outdated skills that are not of use in the work space anymore.

What does all of this mean?
This means that TASIS has a very experienced group of teachers, they might not be doing the right thing by only hiring people of such experience. As future employees or bosses or leaders you should know that what matters most is the traits that the worker holds, although there is no question that work experience is helpful to the work space, being enthusiastic and knowing what your job is about could help you way more then just having work experience.

How would I improve my project next time?
I recently thought of the idea of going around to teachers and asking them for their personal input on this topic, it would make for a very interesting and informative video and it could maybe even spark up some new questions, ideas, and opinions!
